Fall 2008-
Jeremy's first sememster flew by... He has enjoyed his Senior year in Seminary and the classes he has been taking. This first semester he had Greek at 6:45 in the morning two days a week, so I don't think he was too thrilled about that. Still, the time has been enjoyable. I (Lacey) have also appreciated the time spent with other seminary wives through the "Seminettes" group that meets the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month. We have been looking at a book called "Surrender" by Nancy LeDeMoss. I also was the secretary this year which kept me on my toes with all that went on.
In September, we were able to meet up with my parents and grandparents for a weekend in IL. It was a short time, but good to see them whenever we get a chance.

In November, we were so glad that Dary and Anna Finck were able to make it up here from NC for Thanksgiving. We spent half the time here in Minneapolis, but also headed up to Roseau where Jeremy's mom and step dad are. It is great that we were able to see Cal and Lori so much this year. Dary and Anna are still located in North Carolina. They are trying to get out of the military on medical discharge, but it is such a slow process with the military. Pray for them! And for continued healing for Dary as he was badly injured in Iraq a couple years ago.
For Christmas we headed out to Washington for about a week and a half. It was a busy time with so many to visit, but it was wonderful to be home and with my parents and grandparents again. We were blessed with a gift of a very nice camera (NIKON D40) that will be of a great use in Alaska and wherever else we head to.
And that sums up our 2008 year in a nutshell! :)
